The Perfect Gift:
An Hour of your Time and Talents

My husband (Ray) is soooooooo busy–I feel horrible when I need to ask him to do anything extra.
But ‘to-do’ stuff arises regularly and unexpectedly, and accumulates.
I told Ray that he should NEVER worry about what gift to give me
(Christmas, birthday, Mother's Day)—just give me COUPONS for his time and talents!
(He likes this idea!)
I'll also give him coupons, and here's an image of my first prototype.
Ooooh ... guilt-free work/time from my husband! Hooray!

COUPON: ONE HOUR OF CAROL

  • SCHEDULED DATE:
  • I will cheerfully do any task that is safe and within my abilities.
(Feel free to ask me to learn/do something new with appropriate guidance.)
  • Don't be concerned if the task is known to be onerous to me.
I'll do it because it's important to you, and you're important to me!
  • Please give at least one day's notice (for scheduling purposes).
  • You do not need to tell me, ahead of time, what the coupon will be used for.
  • One coupon per day, unless I give permission to use more.
  • If I choose to apply more than one hour to the task, this extra time does not get applied to other coupons—it's just an added gift!
