I've got this soup marked as ‘Good! 8/94’ (August 1994)—I've been making it for a long time!
Dip some fresh bread in it—yum!

    INGREDIENTS:

        - 1 onion, finely chopped
- 35 carrots, diced
- 4 Tb butter
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, chopped
- 2 tsp dill weed
- 1 tsp each: oregano, basil, thyme, marjoram
- salt and pepper
- 8 cups broth, chicken or vegetable
- 1 bunch broccoli, chopped
- 1 bunch spinach, chopped
- 2 zucchini, sliced
- 2 yellow squash, sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
PREPARATION:

        -
In a stock pot, sauté onions and carrots in butter until onions are translucent.

-
Add garlic, herbs, spices, and salt and pepper to taste.
 Stir until vegetables are coated.
-
            Add broth.
 Bring to a boil.
-
Add broccoli, spinach, zucchini, and yellow squash.
Continue boiling until vegetables become tender.
-
            Cool.
 Add sour cream and milk.
-
            Reheat slowly to serve.
