Right (Left) Hand Star

START: varied	designated dancers step forward (as needed); place right/left hand (as called) in center (see handholds on opposite side); move forward indicated amount, or until indicated condition is met	END: star (#48, #49)

• If no turn amount or end condition is given:
  typically go around a full turn to meet your partner for the next call
• handholds:
  
  • men: packsaddle
    (each man takes the wrist of the man in front of him)
  • women: palm star
    (all hands together, fingers pointing up, thumbs closed gently
    over back of adjacent dancer's hand)

  • men center, left hand star
